KYC Group Coordinator - Zürich, CH

Overview

We are recruiting a KYC Business Group Coordinator to join a dynamic international banking environment. This role sits within a strategic client-focused KYC function and plays a key part in ensuring smooth onboarding and periodic review of global client relationships in line with regulatory requirements.

You will act as a key liaison between clients, Relationship Managers, and internal KYC teams across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely completion of all KYC processes.

This is a client-facing, detail-driven role suited to someone who combines strong analytical capability with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding (or strong interest) in KYC and financial services compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and Relationship Managers on all KYC-related matters

  • Guide clients through onboarding and review processes, including clear documentation requirements

  • Coordinate with international teams to ensure timely and consistent KYC recertifications

  • Review and validate KYC documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance standards

  • Proactively follow up on missing or incorrect information and ensure timely resolution

  • Record and maintain accurate KYC data within internal systems

  • Gather and assess client information, including cross-entity relationships within the group

  • Identify potential risks, inconsistencies, or red flags and escalate where appropriate

  • Prepare complete KYC files within agreed deadlines

  • Support continuous improvement of KYC processes and workflows

  • Adapt to evolving regulatory and operational requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Experience or strong interest in KYC, compliance, or banking operations

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and critical thinking ability

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple tasks and stakeholders

  • Proficiency in German and/or French (written and spoken), with good English
